WGYWB March
We almost forgot to post some pics from our March "We're Glad You Were Born" evening - so here they are a little late! We had a great time of relaxing, eating goodies, and learning more about each other with 3 New Life families. If you had a March birthday and couldn't make it, please come when someone else in your family has a birthday in one of the upcoming months. Our family wants to spend some time with each of you and get to know you more.
Sunday, April 27th is the date for the April WGYWB, 6:30 pm. If you have an April birthday we hope you'll bring your family to our home!
In Christ,
Mimi & John

1 reminder and 1 announcement to let you know about…
1. Don’t forget that our Spring Quarter of Family Nights begins tonight. Classes for all ages including two new adult classes (see below). We hope everyone will join us tonight for dinner at 6:00 and classes at 7:00 pm.

b. Sacred Marriage – Lead by Pastor John Crump
2. There is an opportunity for us to do an adult mission trip to the Mississippi gulf area August 3-8, 2008. If you would have any interest in participating in this mission experience, would you please respond to this email and let me know. I will need to know that there is enough interest in order to secure our spots with the Experience Missions organization. Please prayerfully consider your possible participation and let me know soon!

-Youth with Ashley Fletcher leading Wednesday nights, assisted by Bryan and Susan Hunt and Nancy Murray.
-More focus to be directed to small groups in the near future.
-Block party again this summer with a potential fish fry.
Pastor Klotz gave updates on:
-Sunday mornings – continuing with two services, the 8:30 service to worship “unplugged” with no drums or bass guitars and the 10:30 service will continue with a full band.
-The steering committee, which will continue to meet the first Saturday of each month to conduct church business. They will also meet the second Wednesday to discuss church vision and where God is leading.
-Family nights will not cease for the summer as in the past. Community service projects will be sought to bring God into the community.
